Change Your Communication, Change Your Life
Communication is everywhere—meetings, emails, texts, social media, and even those essential water cooler conversations. Yet, despite the countless ways we connect, true engagement is declining. People are tuning out, avoiding opposing viewpoints, and losing the ability to actively listen. While I can’t solve the political divide, I can help transform team dynamics, engagement, and results.
Change the way you communicate, and you’ll change the way you work and live. Whether in corporate, nonprofit, higher education, or any business setting, the challenges remain the same. With a clear, actionable program, I bring awareness to communication pitfalls and offer proven solutions for meaningful improvement. After 30 years of managing teams across industries, I’ve consistently found success, even with the toughest challenges. The added bonus, is by changing the way I communicated at work, it affected how I connected at home. If you are open to making small but meaningful changes, this can change your life.

30 Years of Results,
Powered by Communication
Hi, I am Kelly Fattman, a Business Executive, Professor, Manager, Speaker, and Coach. I have over 30 years of leadership experience across industries and have seen firsthand how communication shapes business success—and how its absence can dismantle even the strongest teams. The well-known adage that "culture eats strategy for lunch" is a recurring phenomenon across organizations worldwide. Over the years, I have identified consistent communication challenges that hinder culture in many companies. These challenges also impact managers at all levels. Through rigorous testing and hands-on learning, I’ve developed proven strategies that improve employee engagement, retention, and business outcomes.
My mission is to provide managers and leaders with the tools to foster engaged, accountable, and high-performing teams. But even greater, I want to see people communicate more effectively, not just professionally but personally too. How you talk with people determines everything that happens next.
Throughout my career, I have successfully helped companies—from global brands like Reebok, Dunkin Donuts, American Express, New Balance, and the Boston Marathon to small startups and nonprofit organizations—launch products, reach new audiences, and elevate customer engagement. My ability to develop strategic marketing initiatives, drive consumer activation, and manage implementation has provided endless opportunities to engage teams at all levels. Whether these teams are composed of eager collaborators or reluctant participants, I always emphasize strategic vision, adaptability, and relationship-building, ensuring that goals are met and results are delivered.

Solving the Communications Conundrum:
Understanding and engaging your team to improve productivity and business outcomes.
In the modern business world, the only way to stand out and thrive is by building and developing high-performing teams. Unfortunately, many companies today struggle with engagement, lack of productivity, and the loss of top talent to competitors. We often blame external factors such as the wrong skill set, poor cultural fit, or issues staff are having outside of work. However, studies show the major cause of these issues are company culture and leadership challenges. In this program, managers will learn a framework to build strong teams through relationships based on trust, empathy, and respect. These skills will allow them to foster and develop more cohesive, productive and successful teams.

Communication 101 for Managers
Communication is the engine of leadership—and the most overlooked skill in today’s digital-first world.
From texts to Zoom calls, the shift in how we engage has often eroded the intention behind our words and actions. This program helps managers reset and rediscover the power of intentional communication. Through practical strategies and personal reflection, participants will strengthen their ability to connect, influence, and lead—whether it's with colleagues, superiors, or personal networks. It's not just about speaking well; it's about showing up with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
